I'm in the beginning stages of making serious change at Moravian. I know that with any change there is a transition period, and I take this into account when putting all of these ideas into action!

Outline of projects for semester:

Composting

-Food scraps, cafeteria waste, and grass waste

-Talk to facilities about where waste goes (trees, shrubs, leaves, grass)Leaves, shrubs

-Where do they take it?

-Close to the compost center

-Talk to food services about where the waste goes?

Green House Gas Inventory

-Finish it

-Make a list of what’s missing Realistically back to 2000, at LEAST 5 years

-10000 metric tons per year!

Awareness

-Interview students about knowledge about sustainability on campus

-Interview admin/faculty/staff –gauge reactions, what they are doing
